Overview of class
This course offers a survey of contemporary movement practices that can be used as a supporting technique for acting. This practice-based class focuses on building expressive connections between the body, breath, voice, and text. As applied to theatrical text, representative techniques include Grotowski, Viewpoints, somatics, and animal work.
Class Materials (Required)
Water bottle, clothes that allow for freedom of movement and cover surfaces of the body for extensive floorwork. $1-25
