Overview of class
In this course, we will examine the ways cognition and culture have been defined and utilized across time theoretically and methodologically in formal and informal settings. We will read empirical articles, essays, and reviews of literature that focus on identity, epistemology, gender, race, class, sexuality, nationality, ethnicity, as well as the homogenous versus heterogeneous presentation of culture in media and the academy.
