Overview of class
We will examine Spinoza's views in a variety of areas, including metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind and language, ethics, and political philosophy.
Learning Objectives
Students will develop critical reading, writing, and thinking skills while becoming familiar with the philosophical issues taken up in Spinoza's work.
