Overview of class
Differential geometry of curves and surfaces, and its connections with special and general relativity. Euclidean versus Minkowski geometry. Curves: parametrization, curvature, proper time, coordinate frames. Surfaces: metric tensor and second fundamental form; Gaussian curvature. Intrinsic geometry: theorem egregious, geodesics, space-time, tensors.
