Overview of class
Complete laboratory experiments focusing on standard synthetic organic chemistry will be conducted each week. Students will complete a prelab worksheet including stoichiometric calculations, prediction of reaction outcome, and identification of safety protocols.
Registration Requirements
Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in CHEM 215-1 and 235-1. Students enrolled in this course MUST also enroll in the associated lecture course, CHEM 215-2.
Class Materials (Required)
Lab coats, which will be provided for use at no cost to students.
Goggles, which were provided to students in CHEM 235-1.
