Overview of class

Video Game Character Design is a workshop course offering an exploration of contemporary character design techniques for beginner and intermediate students. Throughout the course, students will engage with in-class exercises and a single ongoing project to learn essential sculpting skills to shape an original character's form, refine facial features, and craft costumes and poses for rendering. With an emphasis on hands-on learning, this workshop blends theoretical concepts with practical hands-on learning and dedicated studio time to work on projects. This course will conclude with a final presentation where students will showcase their completed works and receive constructive feedback from peers to reflect on their creative journey.
