Overview of class

Summer: Chemistry laboratory techniques applied to materials science, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, and electrochemistry. Planning, data collection, interpretation, and reporting on experiments.

Students enrolled in this course MUST also enroll in the associated lecture course, Chem 132-0.

Registration Requirements

Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in Chemistry 131-0 and in Chemistry 141-0.

Students may not start the sequence in this course.

Students enrolled in this course MUST also enroll in the associated lecture course, Chem 132-0.

Class Materials (Required)

Lab coats, which will be provided for use at no cost to students.
Goggles, which were provided to students in CHEM 141.
