Overview of class

American poet Gary Snyder famously wrote, "Nature is not a place you visit. It is home." One of the most pressing subjects of our time is the destruction of nature and the climate crisis. What are the stories we might tell on stage that help capture this imminent threat, and how might we think about revering nature as a rallying cry to take better care of it? Students will wrestle with these questions as they craft a one-act play. Meets Thursdays, 3-5:50 pm.
