Overview of class
In this advanced improvisation class, we delve into the profound questions posed by poet Banu Kapil in "The Vertical Interrogation of Strangers" to explore the intricate concepts of home, belonging, and diverse modes of existence. Through a fusion of writing, score creation, and embodied research, we unveil the poetic essence inherent in improvisation. A crucial component of this class involves maintaining a personal journal and actively participating in class feedback sessions. By week 6, final projects, shaped collaboratively by the student and the professor, will be shown on the final day of class.
