Overview of class

In this course, students learn about the centrality of race and inequality across the American political system (e.g., parties, elections, congress) and develop mechanisms for using policy processes and practices to produce positive change. Further, this course familiarizes students with public policy and political science writing formats, styles, and standards. Together, it aims to use these insights to help students become better, socially conscious, political analysts.
