Overview of class
Marketing Models I teaches advanced modeling techniques to improve the effectiveness of marketing decisions. The course applies statistical and econometric methodologies to develop models and apply them to real marketing problems. The course surveys a broad spectrum of empirical techniques that have relevance for building models of marketing phenomena. Topics include regression models for limited dependent variables, survival analysis, CLV (customer lifetime values) model, and panel data models.
