Overview of class
The course considers a range of issues in sports and entertainment law. This includes the structure of sports governance, sports disputes, the organization of the Olympic Games and international football (FIFA), agency and athlete representation. It also examines legal issues related to media and communication within the sports and entertainment industries, such as intellectual property, broadcasting rights, Sports and gaming, advertising, and image licensing agreements.

- Open to Sophomores and above, MIT majors only
- Open for cross registration
- Satisfies Media and Politics Minor
