Overview of class

This course is designed to provide an overview of Hegelian philosophy with particular attention to his innovative mode of argumentation, the "speculative" or "dialectical" method. Class time will be divided between lectures covering the major themes of Hegelian philosophy and seminar discussions of the "Introduction" to the _Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences_ (1830).
