Overview of class
Study of the physical chemistry (acid-base chemistry, kinetics, etc.) behind the operating principles of biosensors. Planning, data collection, interpretation, and reporting on these experiments.
Chemistry 182-0 is the laboratory course associated with Chemistry 172-0. Students enrolled in Chemistry 172-0 must also enroll in Chemistry 182-0.
Registration Requirements
Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in Chemistry 171-0 and Chemistry 181-0.
Students enrolled in Chemistry 172-0 must also enroll in Chemistry 182-0.
Class Materials (Required)
Lab coats, which will be provided for use at no cost to students.
Goggles, which were provided to students in CHEM 181.
