Overview of class

How do we write plays about the people we think we know best? In this course, students will consider how playwrights have explored questions of identity, secrets, love, and heritage throughout theatre history. They will also craft the beginning of a full-length play about their own families. Open to students of all levels of writing experience. Instructor permission required.
