Overview of class
Farce is a broad form of comedy that uses exaggeration, physical humor, and deliberate absurdity to celebrate the ridiculous nature of human behavior. A workplace farce does this by exploring and exploiting the faults, inconsistencies, and oddities of various professions. In this course students will read and watch examples of the genre and ultimately craft a short workplace farce of their own. Open to students of any year and experience level. Instructor consent required. Meets Tuesdays from 12-2:50pm. Professor: Laura Schellhardt
