Overview of class

Voguing is a black social dance form that emerged in the NYC ballrooms of the 80s and 90s. It is a dance form created and innovated by queer LGBTQ+ BIPOC communities to both contest their socio-eonomic marginalization as well as celebrate their identities. Please come prepared to think and move in allyship with these communities' embodied histories.
