Overview of class

This course surveys theory and methods for the analysis of categorical response and count data. Topics covered include the exact and approximate inference for contingency tables, logistic and Poisson regression, ordinal and multinomial logit models.

Registration Requirements

Prerequisites: Regression analysis and maximum likelihood methods of statistical theory.

Evaluation Method

Grading: Based on assignments, projects, and presentation.
