Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, students will demonstrate knowledge in: Effective interaction and communication with clients/patients, families, professionals, and other individuals through written, spoken, and nonverbal communication. Principles of research and the application of evidence-based practice (i.e., scientific evidence, clinical expertise, and client/patient perspectives) for accurate and effective clinical decision making.

Evaluation Method

Students will be evaluated based on active participation in class discussions, written assignments, and oral presentations.
