Overview of class
This course focuses on the evolving relationship between today's news media landscape and its consumers. Students learn fundamental theories of human behavior and media consumption in order to understand new technologies, content opportunities, and relationship-building with journalism audiences. The course discusses various frameworks for thinking about the rapidly changing journalism industry, as well as the intellectual tools for students to adjust and lead as the industry changes in the future.
