Overview of class

Individuals in the performing arts are educating audiences, performers, and communities on a daily basis. Research suggests that over 90% percent of artists will teach at some point in their career as a way to share and interact within multiple community settings. However, many artists graduate from their undergraduate program and feel unprepared to teach. This course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for students to work successfully as teaching artists.
