Overview of class

Performance of Prague is lecture, discussion, student presentations and project critique class. The course will contain units on the representation of Prague in literature, the major Czech playwrights and designers, scenography and an overview of the history of the Czech Republic and specifically of the Quadrennial.
The class will culminate with students attending the Prague Quadrennial, the largest and oldest theatrical design exhibition and competition in the world.
