Overview of class

See course syllabus on file. The course examines the development of legal aid and access to justice issues and programs in the U.S. and in developing countries. Ethiopia will be utilized as the focal point for such issues in the developing world.

Learning Objectives

Students will become familiar with the challenges involved in providing access to justice in the U.S. and in developing countries.

Evaluation Method

20% classroom participation, 80% final paper
