Overview of class
There are now more than 2,000,000 million podcasts, covering everything from true crime stories to a man who takes walks in the woods (the podcast is just the sound of walking, no talking). But just because you can turn anything into a podcast doesn't mean it will be something other people will want to listen to.
This course will help students become better interviewers and critical listeners. Students will learn all the fundamentals of quality audio production and editing. Each student will produce a pilot episode for a podcast. Students will work in teams on the podcast pilot.
Students should bring audio recorders, laptops and headphones to every class
