Overview of class
Quantum mechanics, electronic structure, periodic properties of elements, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, intermolecular forces, properties of solids and liquids, and special topics in modern chemistry. Students enrolled in this course MUST also enroll in the associated laboratory course, CHEM 141-0.
Registration Requirements
Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in Chemistry 110-0.
Students may not start the sequence in this course.

Enrollment Requirements: In order to enroll for this class you must have completed CHEM 110 with a grade of C- or better OR you must currently be enrolled in CHEM 110.
Co-Requisite: Students must also register for CHEM 141-0. Add both classes (CHEM 141-0 & 131-0) to the shopping cart and submit together for successful registration.
