Overview of class

This class focuses on song acting for music theatre. Using solo repertoire, students learn to apply song analysis, personalization, imagination, and physicality to the challenge of acting and storytelling through song. Repertoire is selected from both musical theatre and popular music.

Registration Requirements

This class is available for students who have been accepted into the Music Theatre Certificate Program. Other sophomore or junior level students who are interested in this course work can inquire about available seats by emailing Professor Amanda Dehnert at amanda-dehnert@northwestern.edu
