Overview of class

Theatres are always in search of comedies, and new plays that are cheap and easy to produce. What are the essential elements that you need to tell your funny story onstage, and how might ""less is more"" be an approach to opening up possibilities for writing your new play? Students will study examples of great plays that cost little money to produce and then craft a 45-page one-act play.
