This course covers the different types of innovation, design thinking, and business models with an emphasis on media organizations and products. Students will learn to recognize different types of innovation and learn how to utilize human-centered design to identify user needs, develop valuable solutions, and identify the appropriate business models to get innovative products to market, culminating in a compelling pitch to sell their vision.
