Overview of class

This course, centered around a trip to Phoenix for Super Bowl LVII weekend, will focus on big event coverage. How can you tell rich stories despite limited access to the principal figures? Who are the people in the shadows who make these events successful? How do cities accommodate events with their massive influx of visitors, and how do the visitors impact the city?
