Overview of class
News reporting for radio requires journalists to use multiple skills all at once and be proficient in not just audio, but in crafting audio stories that have a strong and engaging digital presence. In this Q2 course, you will replicate work produced in a public radio newsroom by reporting audio stories (spots, superspots, voxes, and one feature) paired with short- to medium-length text stories and strong accompanying visuals.
