Overview of class

As one of the country's largest cultural hubs, Chicago's reputation as a powerhouse for arts innovation is shown through its wide variety of museums, galleries, performance venues, and historic landmarks. The course will combine this rich cultural history with audio reporting, emphasizing interviewing, scripting, and producing sound-rich stories. Students will report news spots, vox, and news features and will hear from some of the city's finest arts & culture reporters.
